Whether you’re in the city center or the heart of the rainforest, you’ll be lapping up the luxury. You’ll kick off your trip in Lima in a superior double at the Casa Andina Premium Miraflores (with breakfast) in – you guessed it – Miraflores. Here you’ll be treated to breathtaking views over Miraflores and the Pacific coast along with first-class amenities include a heated, covered pool and outdoor terrace, gym and spa and Alma, offering modern Peruvian cuisine.  

From Lima, you’ll head into the heart of the Amazon for 2 nights in your very own thatched cabana at the 4.5 - star Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica Lodge. Located on a private ecological reserve and research center on the banks of Made de Dios River, this stunning lodge consists of 35 cabañas all combining natural materials with contemporary amenities and built in the native Machiguenga and Ese-Eja style. Here you’ll be treated to a daily buffet breakfast, a la carte dining, casual conversation areas, a bar, a gift shop, an upstairs loft and balconies for bird watching and stargazing along with an incredible ENA Spa combining classic treatments with exotic ingredients (ooh la la). 

On the third leg of your trip, you’ll leave the rainforest behind and head to the tranquil grassy wonderland of the Sacred Valley where you and your plus 1 will be treated to true Peruvian luxury in a colonial classic larger double guest room at Palacio del Inka, a Luxury Collection Hotel. Considered a historic landmark, Palacio del Inka is a five-centuries-old mansion located in the heart of downtown Cusco, minutes from the shops and museums in the main square. Soak up the intoxicating spirit emanating from the streets of central Cusco from your private balcony, head to the bar for a pisco-making lesson, dine in the restaurant overlooking the courtyard or relax in the subterranean spa with a state-of-the-art hydrotherapy pool, several treatment rooms, a sauna AND a spa. There's even a gym – a real rarity in Cusco. 

From Cusco, you’ll embark on a once-in-a-lifetime 5-day trek to Machu Pichu. You’ll travel through 5 charming villages and get to stay in a different lodge in each one, meeting the locals and getting a glimpse into their iconic yet still much undiscovered world. 

From Machu Pichu, you’ll head back down to Palacia del Inca for a night before returning to Casa Andina Premium Miraflores in Lima for the last night of your trip.

When we say this one’s action-packed, we mean it, but we’ll kick things off a little slowly to give your jet lag a minute to sort itself out. When you touchdown in Lima, you’ll be taken straight to your hotel where you can enjoy a Pisco sour or 2 while watching the kite-surfers play over a welcoming sunset or head out to explore Miraflores – Lima's self-proclaimed best district.  

On day 2 the adventure really begins as you leave Lima behind and head into the heart of the Amazon. After flying from Lima to Puerto Maldonado, you’ll hop aboard a motorboat and cruise your way down Madre de Dios river to your jungle hideaway. Once there, you’ll be treated to 2 days of endless activities such as guided walks along the Lodge's extensive system of jungle trails, excursions to incredible spots including the flooded wetlands and Rolin Island (home to some incredible monkey species such as the white-fronted capuchin and the squirrel monkey) and a boat ride up the river to Lake Sandoval where you can spot parrots, turtles, piranhas and possibly a giant otter or 2 just to name a few! Alternatively, you can enjoy walking through the treetops along canopy suspension bridges or visit an Ese’Eja community before heading back to your cabaña to watch the famous Amazonian sunset.  

Leaving the rainforest behind, you’ll then head to the grassy plains of the Sacred valley for some serious exploration – highlights of which will include the colourful town of Pisac and the impressive Incan fortress at Ollantaytambo. You’ll also get the opportunity to take to the hills with a visit to the high-altitude village of Chinchero. Here you can view the glistening saltpans of Maras before exploring the circular terraces of Moray before returning to your hotel to enjoy delectable andean cuisine paired with wines carefully selected by the onsite sommelier.  

Following your bound to be unforgettable stay in the Sacred Valley, you’ll embark on a 5-day trek to Machu Pichu – taking in breathtaking glacier views, traversing remote mountain passes and meeting locals every step of the way. During you journey you’ll get the chance to swim in glacial lakes, hike sacred valleys and mountains, soak in outdoor hot tubs, picnic by rushing rivers and visit coffee and banana plantations before hopping on a train to take a bewitchingly beautiful journey through the tropical foothills of the Andes to your ultimate destination: Machu Picchu itself. You’ll then head back to Cusco where you can spend your time exploring the cobbled streets and stunning plazas, posing for photos amongst the archways, relaxing in one of the city’s top-notch eateries or heading out to the Inca site of Sacsayhuaman.  

You’ll then end your Inca adventure back where it all began – Lima.
