Adventure Cycling in Georgia

Tblisi’s historic old town and UNESCO sites are the perfect introduction to what will be a vast array of landscapes soon to be traversed. The next 24 hours will see you cycle to the spectacular Dashbashi Canyon and treeless Javakhti Plateau before taking a dip in the volcanic Lake Paravani. You’ll then discover the picturesque Vardzia, a city carved into the mountain that wouldn’t look out of place in Lord of the Rings. Explore hidden cave dwellings still protected nowadays by a small group of monks, as you learn about the area’s fascinating history.

The Fortress of Rabati is as impressive as it is old, housing a mosque, citadel, synagogue, Catholic church and an Orthadox church. From here, you’ll climb your way into the Adjara Mountains, making your way along the Goderdzi Pass. Just as you think the scenery couldn’t get more stunning, you’ll make your way through the Adjarian countryside to the coastal flatlands. Here, you'll meet the Black Sea for a quiet beach retreat and a well-deserved relax after your cycling adventure. Oh, and we’ll also throw in up to £120 spending money too!
