An overstuffed pasty of beaches, cliffs and cultures
Miles of beaches twist round fishing villages where crumbly pubs and craggy cliffs live and underwater sea caves wait to be explored. Choose fresh fish in a boujee St Ives restaurant or take your pasty to the beach. Come evening, you'll find the locals hanging out harbourside with a local cider or hitting the surf... Yep, you're officially living in a North Face ad.
A surfing holiday in Cornwall…need we say more? There are of course more things to do in Cornwall than just surfing, but it would be silly to visit and NOT get on the board at least once, right? It’s time to choose your lucky plus one and explore all there is to offer! Experience some of the UK’s best surfing beaches, discover coastal walks and enjoy the stunning views.
You’ll be spending two nights in a cosy shepherd’s hut, beach-front cottage or the likes – somewhere to feel like your home away from home. You’ll need a good place to rest your head, seeing how much there is to explore and uncover in Cornwall! You can opt to visit iconic attractions such as St Michael’s Mount and the Eden Project, or if you’d prefer, there’s an abundance of scenic walks to discover.
You can’t possibly come to Cornwall without trying your hand at surfing (it’s an official rule, sorry). St Ives Surf School is one of the best places to learn how to surf, whether you’re a newbie or a self-acclaimed pro. Complete beginners will learn about beach safety, all-important techniques and how to catch those first blissful waves with your feet on the board. If you’re already comfortable with surfing, you’ll benefit from St Ives Surf School’s advanced coaching team – time to transform you from wannabe-pro to actual-pro!
