    Activities

Whether it’s a sophisticated day sampling Sauvignon Blanc or a chance to get up close and personal with Flipper you’re after, we got you covered. You’ll get the chance to just about do it all on this trip. See J R R Tolkein’s world come to life with a set tour of Hobbiton where the award-winning Lord of the Rings trilogy was filmed and explore the countless coves and caves of Waiheke island, where artists, wine-lovers, foodies and free spirits find their solace.

Live your best Kelly Slater life and get your adrenaline pumping with a surfing lesson in Manu Bay or cruise out to Akaroa Harbour for a chance to bump noses with the world’s rarest and smallest oceanic dolphin (voted the number 1 bucket list adventure in New Zealand 💅).

New Zealand is as famous for its national parks as its kiwis, so we HAD to include a few of them for you. Hit up the Ranbow Springs Nature Park where you’ll get the chance to learn about New Zealand's fascinating natural history on guided tours, meet the interesting creatures calling New Zealand home, and get up close and personal with kiwis at the on-site hatchery. Then fasten your lifebelt and hop aboard a kayak for a day exploring the waterways of Abel Tasman National park, home to an array of native birds, New Zealand fur seals and more.

For even more adventure, head out to Hell's Gate Geothermal Reserve and Mud Spa to soak in the nutrient-rich hot springs and mud once used by Maori warriors to heal their battle-scarred bodies or travel through the limestone passages of the 12,000-year-old caves of Te Anau to have your breath taken away by thousands of glittering glow worms lining the ancient walls.

Slightly more subdued, but equally amazing, we’ve included a tour of the Wellington Beehive and Parliament buildings, some of the best knows landmarks in the area, along with a visit to the 328m tall Sky Tower in Aukland, an exciting hub of adrenaline activities, superb dining and breath-taking views.

And lastly, but in no way least, what we’ve all been waiting for – wine. Yep, we’ll be sending you on an unforgettable tour of, not one, but four stunning Central Otago vineyards. From Queenstown you’ll head into the rolling hills and valleys of Central Otago where you’ll visit and sample the locally produced wines of 4 vineyards, learn about the history and terroir of Central Otago wines, and tuck in to a sumptuous lunch served with the most breathtaking of views. We don’t know about you, but we’ll drink to that!
