7 nights in Puglia

    Explore this enchanting Italian gem

Ready to explore one of Italy's food epicentres in real luxury? Then Puglia is calling!

You could win a 7 night luxury trip for two people to Puglia, one of Italy's most charming destinations. The pace of life will slow down and it’s all about la dolce far niente – letting time slip idly by, doing as little as you possibly can. In this region, food takes centre stage: fresh fish, figs, olive oils and wines. Fun fact: Puglia produces almost all of the country’s – in fact Europe’s – pasta. This region, the heel of Italy, has a very cosmopolitan past; the Greeks, Spanish and Normans all paid visits, leaving a quirky mishmash of architectural heirlooms, from churches and cathedrals to postcard-perfect whitewashed villages and the traditional dwellings called trulli.

Sound like your sort of trip? Then don't hesitate to enter!

    Accommodation

You'll have your choice of a 7 night stay at one of these three luxury hotels:

    • I Tre Bacili - Think warm adriatic breezes bringing scents of nearby lemon groves drift through the courtyards. This adults-only stay in pastoral Puglia is simply charming, with its Roman-style vaulted ceilings, dry stone walls, fruit trees and trailing vines. Modern sculptures, paintings and ceramics by local artists adorn the hotel, and with just six rooms and a homely vibe, this is a peaceful retreat from which to explore southern Puglia’s delights, from its beaches to the baroque beauty of nearby Lecce.
    • Masseria Prosperi - Among the olive trees, a few steps, from the sea, lies Masseria Prosperi. Learn the art of slowing down in this stunning countryside stay, a stone’s throw from the sea and within touching distance of Otranto.
    • Palais Gentile - an intimate, 18th-century palazzo with space for a handful of guests. Restored by a team of local artisans, it’s a quintessential old-meets-new bepoke pad to stay. It’s set in the small town of Matino, within easy reach of Baia Verde’s beaches; you can see the sea from its rooftop terrace – over breakfast or a sunset glass of rosado. Lecce is also an easy drive, past sun-baked farmland and olive groves.
