Paris: A David Bowie Street has opened in the French capital, celebrating the iconic legacy of one of the world's most influencial singer-songwriters. This street is situated in the vibrant Austerlitz district of the 13th arrondissement. As the city where Bowie first graced the stage with his band, the Lower Third, you'll see where Paris pays homage to this iconic artist.
Wu-Tang Clan finally have their own NYC-named district. Yep, NYC named the streets of Park Hill the Wu-Tang Clan District. A number of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan members hail from the Staten Island neighbourhood, imbuing it with a legacy and significance that far exceeds the post-code.
Whilst in town, you can check out Run DMC's New York City neighbourhood of Hollis, Queens, with a street named after them.
Finally Bermuda call! Here they renamed a street near the National Sports Centre “Beyoncé Boulevard” in honour of the Queen after an appearance by the pop star in 2008.
