Marrakech is a sensory delight, with vivid colours, swirling scents and snake charmer music filling the streets. Steeped in ancient artistry, you’ll be surrounded by intricate paintings and detailed Islamic architecture from the get-go. Founded almost a thousand years ago and perching on the edge of the Sahara Desert, the Red City is painted an enchanting salmon-pink across buildings and palaces alike.
For every purchase you make, we'll plant a tree in your name with Eden Reforestation Projects.
We’ll sort you out with return flights from London to Marrakech for four
We have two jaw-dropping accommodation options located in the heart of Marrakech, so you can make the most of your getaway. The first option, Riad Al Rimal, is decorated in a traditional Moroccan style with air-conditioned rooms. Ever been in a hot tub on a rooftop terrace overlooking the city? Well now’s your chance! There’s also a pool in the central courtyard coupled with a hammam, perfect for relaxing after a busy day’s sightseeing. As it’s perfectly located in the Marrakech Medina, Jemaa El Fna Square and the Koutoubia Mosque are both right around the corner within a five minute walk.
Our second accommodation option is Riad l'Oiseau du Paradis, with colourful fabrics and carved furniture galore. The rooftop terrace offers stunning views of the Koutoubia Mosque, whilst the central courtyard holds a calming pool and hammam to relax and rewind in. Breakfast is served each morning to be enjoyed on the patio or in the intricately decorated lounge. Jemaa El Fna Square is just a ten minute walk, allowing you to explore the sights and city before returning to your hidden oasis.
Depending on availability for your preferred dates, similar hotels may be offered.
You’ll receive £100 of spending money to choose your favourite activities during your stay. We’ve got a few handpicked suggestions to get you started with some inspiration. You could start your day by immersing yourself in Marrakech’s history, wandering through 16th-century Saadian Tombs ornately decorated with Italian Carrara marbled and a gilded honeycomb muqarnas ceiling. We couldn’t talk about Marrakech or indeed Morocco without mentioning the spectacular Jardin Majorelle, once home to Majorelle and more recently Yves Saint Laurent. If you’re not a self-proclaimed fashionista then don’t fret – it’s on the list for its impressive gardens and insta-worthy architecture. Over the course of your visit to Marrakech you’ll become attuned to the way religion permeates the rhythms of daily life. Gain valuable insight by following the calls to prayer towards the impressive Ali Ben Youssef Medersa or the Koutoubia minaret.
